Who We Are

We are a part of the family of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel with its denomination headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

 

 

       We call ourselves the Walla Walla Bible Center because we believe that "all scripture is given by the inspiration of God". 2 Timothy 3:16. Inspiration, as defined by Paul in this passage, is the strong, conscious inbreathing of God into men, qualifying them to give utterance to truth. The Bible is the reservoir and conduit of divine truth.

Our prayer and desire at the Bible Center is to communicate with the help of His Spirit the eternal truth of His word. We also understand that truth is not something we believe, but truth is a person named Jesus, who desires relationship with us through His word. We contend that religion in its essential idea is a life in God; a life lived in recognition of God, in communion with God, and under control of the indwelling Spirit of God.

We at the Bible Center are simply learning to understand His heart, trusting in the certainty of His Word, waiting with patience for His time and listening quietly for His voice.
